From the moment we opened our doors, our mission has been clear: to ignite a lifelong passion for the performing arts, empower young people to step into their confidence, and create a space where every child feels seen, valued, and inspired.
At Premier Stage Academy, we don’t just teach skills—we shape futures, build character, and celebrate individuality through exceptional training in Drama, Musical Theatre, Dance, Screen Acting, and Circus.

A message from our Principal, Miss Gemma​
As Principal of Premier Stage Academy, it fills me with pride to lead a school that champions creativity, confidence, and community. Since founding the academy in 2017, my vision has been to create a nurturing space where every child feels supported and inspired to grow—whether they dream of a career on stage or simply want to build confidence and have fun. At Premier, we believe in the power of the performing arts to shape not only talent, but strong, resilient individuals.

With a background in professional performance and a degree in Performing Arts, plus a PGCE in English, Drama and Media, I bring both passion and real-world experience to everything we do. From training with the National Youth Theatre, LAMDA and Trinity College, to appearing in shows like Hollyoaks and Jonathan Creek, I’ve seen first-hand the doors the arts can open. I’m deeply committed to giving every child that same opportunity—to discover their voice, shine in their own way, and feel truly proud of who they are.

At Premier Stage Academy, we believe that exceptional training starts with an exceptional team. Our teachers are not only passionate about nurturing young talent—they’re genuine industry professionals with real-world experience both on stage and in the classroom.
Every member of our team holds relevant qualifications, safeguarding training, valid DBS check and brings a wealth of knowledge
from the performing arts and education sectors. It’s this unique combination of professional expertise and genuine care
that makes Premier a leader—not just in performing arts, but as a trusted children’s activity provider in Preston.
